  1. Who is responsible for your data?

GCC Sport Surfaces, located at De Overmaat 76, 6831 AJ Arnhem, registered in the commercial register under number 09177553, is responsible for collecting and using your personal data as described in this privacy statement.   1. What data do we collect and how?

Your personal data is used exclusively to provide you with our services. That means the purpose for processing the personal data is always directly related to the services you purchase from us. We collect personal data from and about you: (1) name and contact details, (2) contact details entered via the contact form and via e-mail, 3) data we record when you visit our website.

1) Name and contact details: these are the details you enter/provide when you call or mail us or contact us through a messaging service. These are, for example, your first and last names, address, telephone number and e-mail address. When you send us an e-mail, we may save the messages.

(2) Contact details through our contact form and via e-mail: When you want to submit a contact request using our online contact form we ask you to provide personal details. These details are used to handle your request and in order for us to contact you about your request. This data is stored on a secured server. The information is not shared with third parties. In order to guarantee the quality of our advice, the information is shared internally. Staff at GCC Sport Surfaces are obliged to respect the confidentiality of the data. However, it is possible that on the basis of the request we contact third parties, which you have indicated you have also have submitted a request to, or if they are actively involved in the request.

(3) Data we store when you visit our website: When you use the GCC Sport Surfaces website small text files, so-called cookies, are placed on your computer. These cookies are used to improve the functionality of the website and to obtain information about visits to and the use of the website, so-called Google Analytics cookies. Such cookies can be placed on your device without your permission. You can delete the cookies at any time via your browser menu on your computer. GCC Sport Surfaces has not given permission to Google to use Analytics information obtained via GCC Sport Surfaces for other Google services and we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google with which we comply with the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. When you visit our website, your IP address (the number identifying your computer) is stored automatically. GCC Sport Surfaces stores these IP addresses in order to determine from which computers the GCC Sport Surfaces website is visited for purposes including the prevention of hacking attempts.

  1. How do we use your personal data?

GCC Sport Surfaces uses your data for two purposes: (1) for providing our services and maintaining contact with you, (2) for our administration and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

  1. We use your contact details in order to communicate with you. This could be related to requests/quotes/order confirmations/project information etc. We use your payment details to complete your payment.

  2. We use your company/personal details for internal administrative purposes, such as for our administration and to comply with our legal and fiscal obligations.

We collect and use your personal data so that we can provide services to you, to meet our legal obligations and to protect our legitimate interests.

  1. Which third parties have access to your data?

We can exchange your data or make it available to third parties in the context of the following purposes: (1) GCC Sport Surfaces provides your details to supervisory bodies, tax authorities and law enforcement agencies solely when we are legally obliged to do so, and (2) with our suppliers that provide support services.

We can use third parties to supply services, such as suppliers of materials or contracted parties. This privacy statement does not apply to the collection, use and storage of the data collected by our suppliers or contracted parties.   1. How do we secure your details and how long do we store them?

GCC Sport Surfaces has taken technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your data from loss or illegitimate use, such as unauthorised inspection of your data.

The GCC Sport Surfaces websites uses a reliable SSL Certificate to guarantee your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands.

We store your personal data for as long as it is required to achieve the purposes described in this privacy statement, insofar as is legally required to meet our legal obligations, or as required for potential conflicts. When we no longer require the data we destroy it.

  1. How can I exercise my legal rights?

You can contact us to exercise the legal rights granted to you on the grounds of applicable legislation related to data protection, including (1) the right of access to your data, (2) to correct your data, (3) to delete your data, (4) to limit how your data is processed, and (5) the right to object to your data being processed. Do keep in mind that we may require additional information to verify your identity.

  1. Right of access
    You can request that we do not process your personal data and if that is the case, we shall provide you with access to the data in the form of a copy. When we meet a request to access data we shall also provide you with additional information, such as the purposes for processing the data, the categories of the personal data concerned and any other information you require to exercise this right.

  2. Right to rectification
    You have the right to have your personal details corrected in the event of inaccuracy or incompleteness. On your request, we shall correct any inaccurate personal data about you. And while taking into account the purposes for processing the data, we shall complete any incomplete personal data, which can consist of providing an additional statement.

  3. Right to removal

You also have the right to have your personal data deleted. Removal of your personal data only occurs in specific cases as stipulated by law.

  1. Right to restrict processing
    You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data, which means that we shall suspend processing your personal data for a specific period. The conditions that could warrant exercising this right include situations in which the accuracy of the personal data has been disputed, but for which we require some time in order to verify the inaccuracy or accuracy thereof. This right does not prevent us from keeping your stored personal data. We shall inform you prior to the restriction being lifted.

  2. Right of objection
    You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, which means you can request that we no longer process your personal data. This only applies in the event that legitimate interests (including profiling) form the legal grounds for processing.

You can, at all times and at no cost to you, object to marketing communications/sending newsletters if your personal data is processed for such purposes. You can exercise this right at all times by withdrawing your previously provided permission by way of a written notification to us. If you exercise this right, we shall no longer process your personal data for such purposes. Situations could arise in which we have the right to change or restrict your rights as described in this paragraph. In any event, we shall carefully evaluate whether such an exclusion is applicable and we shall inform you of such.
